Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their secon child Tuesday, April 12, the singer announced Thursday April 14th 2016 via Twitter.
The singer gave birth to her second child Tuesday. “Our little baby boy has arrived!!” Clarkson tweeted Thursday. “Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn’t be happier or more in love!” Clarkson wrote.
Jennifer Lopez debuted her new single “Ain’t Your Mama” last week on the ‘American Idol’ stage. As you may or may not know, the song was written by Meghan Trainor and produced by Dr. Luke. Yup I know!!
Dr. Luke is currently engaged in a legal battle with Kesha, regarding the singer’s accusations of both emotional and physical abuse. So, when his name was revealed to be linked to Lopez’s, it didn’t look good for the judge on American Idol . As soon as the song dropped social media was flooded with criticism.
Trainor is now addressing the blacklash saying she’s responsible and that it was unfair to Jlo.
“[It was] not fair on her, not at all,” Meghan Trainor told Digital Spy about the criticism J-Lo received.
“I texted her the song and she had no idea – she thought I did it alone by myself at my house, which a lot of people think because I do do that.
“I sent it to her and said, ‘Do you like the song?’ and she said, ‘I love the song, my kid loves the song – he’s made me play it five times already so I know it’s a hit – when can I cut it?’, so I said immediately, ‘Whenever you want!’”
Meghan added: “[Epic Records boss] LA Reid wants me to work with her on this new record because we’ve had so much success.
“I gave her three songs so far, and [‘Ain’t Your Mama’] was one of them. For the American Idol[finale] they were like, this is the best one that mixes with ‘Let’s Get Loud’, so they combined it.
“But I felt terrible when Jennifer got all the hate for [‘Ain’t Your Mama’], and it’s just all ridiculous. It’s such a big song for her.”
Drink coffee to have a better nap
In a Japanese study that examined how to make the most of a nap, people who took a “coffee nap”—consuming about 200 milligrams of caffeine (the amount in one to two cups of coffee) and then immediately taking a 20-minute rest—felt more alert and performed better on computer tests than those who only took a nap.
Why does this work? A 20-minute nap ends just as the caffeine kicks in and clears the brain of a molecule called adenosine, maximizing alertness. “Adenosine is a byproduct of wakefulness and activity,” says Allen Towfigh, MD, medical director of New York Neurology & Sleep Medicine. “As adenosine levels increase, we become more fatigued. Napping clears out the adenosine and, when combined with caffeine, an adenosine-blocker, further reduces its effects and amplifies the effects of the nap.”
